It always shocks me to find that another weekend has snuck up on me and that the goals I set for myself for that week have often totally evaporated! How is that possible?

Well, we talked about this last week when we discussed how planning and making appointments in advance is so vital, and now to realize that on top of that flexibility, making changes on the fly is also vital. Filling those potholes as they happen so as not to lose momentum just because of a no show!

Those missed opportunities can be a huge cause for lack of achievement.

When I wasn't really in the hunt I used to be glad when someone canceled or didn't show because it took the pressure off for the moment. Wow, how stupid was that. I was just delaying the time of the arrival of that often elusive dream.

As soon as you find out that someone is not showing or that they have canceled, get on the phone or text and fill that spot. "Hey John, I just had a no show (or cancellation) are you free for lunch. (for coffee) Some of these off the cuff appointments can be the most valuable appointments you will ever have!

Have a more effective week this week!!

Me too. Had a very ineffective week last week. I let all kinds of distractions cause me to cancel!!
